Introduction

Wastequip, LLC, on behalf of itself and its subsidiaries and affiliates, (“Company,” “Wastequip,” or “we”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. 

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the Wastequip family of websites, applications, services and products (our “Sites”) that link to this policy and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. 

This policy does not apply to information collected:
•    Offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by any third party; or
•    By any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Sites – which are governed by their own privacy statements or policies.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your Personal Information and how we will treat it. By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to the use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Sites after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates. 

Children Under the Age of 18
Our Sites are not designed for or intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at privacy@wastequip.com.

Information We Collect About You 
”Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you as an individual. Wastequip has or may have collected the below categories of Personal Information from consumers within the last twelve (12) months.  

  • Identifiers such as account and contact information, including name, address, email address, phone number, username, Social Security, driver’s license and passport numbers, and other contact information you provide us.
  • Financial information such as payment information, including credit card or debit card information and information about the payment methods and services you use in connection with doing business with the Company.  
  • Commercial information such as Account history, including information about your subscription, account, transactions, purchases, order history, or discounts.
  • Classification data such as demographic information, including your age, gender, or family or marital status.
  • Geolocation data, including general geographic location such as country, state or province, or city and/or precise geolocation.
  • Device information, including your IP address, device identifiers, operating system and version, hardware identifiers, browser type and settings, and other device information.
  • Internet or other similar network activity, such as browsing activity, content and information you elect to provide as part of your profile or in any reviews you make through the Sites or emails, chats, or other communications sent to us.
  • Sensory data such as images, voice recordings, and videos collected or stored in connection with the Sites.
  • Professional or employment related information such as current or past job history or performance evaluations. 
  • Biometric information, such as fingerprints, faceprints, and voiceprints, iris or retina scans, keystroke, gait, or other physical patterns, and sleep, health, or exercise data.


Some of the information identified above may be considered sensitive data under certain laws. If required under applicable law, we will collect and process sensitive personal data only with your consent. If you choose not to provide or allow us to collect some information, we may not be able to provide you with requested features, services, or information.

We also collect:

  • Statistics or aggregated information. Statistical or aggregated data does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from Personal Information. For example, we may aggregate Personal Information to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Site feature.
  • Technical information. Technical information includes information about your internet connection and usage details about your interactions with the Sites, such as clickstream information to, through, and from our Sites (including date and time), products that you view or search for; page response times, download errors, length of your visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), or methods used to browse away from a page.

If we combine or connect non-personal statistical or technical data with Personal Information so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as Personal Information.

How We Collect Personal Information
Wastequip obtains Personal Information from the following categories of sources:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us. We collect information about you when you interact with our Sites, such as when you create or update an account, ask a question, request information, or place an order.
  • From third parties, such as our business partners.
  • Automatically as you navigate through the Site. Information collected automatically may include usage details; IP addresses; information collected through cookies, web beacons, chatbots, clicks and keystrokes, and other tracking technologies; information about the browser or type of device you are using; data collected through cookies, pixel tags or other similar technologies; the date and time of your visit; and the web page you visited immediately prior to visiting our Site.

Using automatic collection technologies helps us to improve our Sites and to deliver a better and more personalized experience.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you interact with the Sites. You may refuse to accept or disable cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain features of the Sites. 
  • Web Beacons. Some parts of the Sites and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those parts or opened an email and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity). 

To the extent any of these automated technologies are considered a personal data sale, targeted advertising, or profiling, under applicable laws, depending on where you live, you may opt out from use of these automated technologies for such uses by emailing privacy@wastequip.com. Please note that some site features may be unavailable as a result.

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking and Linking Technologies
Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Sites are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Sites. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. 

We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. 

The Sites may contain links to other sites, services, plug-ins, social networks, or applications, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow the third party to collect or share data about you. If you follow a link to a third-party website or engage a third-party plugin, please note that these third parties have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. 

Why We Collect and How We Use Your Information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Information:

  • To present our Sites and their contents to you, including to tailor your user experience, showing you the content we think you might be interested in, process your information and displaying content according to your preferences.
  • To communicate with you, provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us, answer questions and provide information as requested.
  • To help identify you, to track activity within our Sites and to gather broad demographic information.
  • To provide our third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors with information in order to service your account or provide repair/warranty services for products you purchase from us.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us or otherwise complete a transaction or service you request or authorize, including for billing and collection.
  • To notify you about changes to our Sites or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
  • To provide you with promotional materials or offers for products or services from Wastequip or send you other communications about Wastequip business and events (including communications based on your interests, personal and business characteristics and location) – we may provide such marketing communications and offers via email, postal mail, online, social media platforms, text messages and other means.
  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
  • To help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Sites, including to optimize our Sites so that they are more beneficial to users like yourself and to us.
  • For any other purpose with your consent.

If you reside outside of the United States, we will process, store, and transfer your personal information in and to the United States, which may have different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as your local law. In these circumstances, the governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies of the United States may be able to obtain access to your personal information through the laws of the United States. 

We may also use your information to contact you about our own and third-parties’ goods and services that may be of interest to you. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To our parent, subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business. 
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Wastequip’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by Wastequip about our Website users is among the assets transferred.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • To protect or defend the rights, property, or safety of Wastequip, our customers, or others.
  • To share with advertisers on an aggregate basis (meaning that your information will be generalized with the data we collect from all our users); we will not share personally identifiable information, unique identifiers, financial information and demographic information with advertisers about any particular individual that uses our Sites.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, including but not limited to those outlined in this policy.
  • With your consent.
  • We may also disclose your Personal Information:
    • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
    • To enforce or apply our Terms of Use: https://www.wastequip.com/terms-conditions, Terms of Sale: https://www.wastequip.com/terms-conditions-of-sale, or Terms of Purchase: https://www.wastequip.com/purchase-order-terms-conditions, and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
    • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wastequip, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Sales of Personal Information
In the preceding twelve (12) months, Wastequip has not sold any categories of Personal Information. However, we may sell your Personal Information as an asset in connection with the sale of all or any part of Wastequip or its parents.

Your Rights and Choices Related to Your Information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms you can use to control certain uses and disclosures of your information and rights you may have under state law, depending on where you live.

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Sites may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
  • Promotional Offers. If we send you a promotional email, you may click on the “Unsubscribe” link and follow the directions to unsubscribe from our promotional offers list for future distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to you by Wastequip as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.

Depending on your state of residency, you may have certain rights related to your Personal Information, including: 

  • Access and Data Portability. You may confirm whether we process your Personal Information and access a copy of the Personal Information we process. To the extent feasible, Personal Information will be provided in a portable format. Depending on your state, you may have the right to receive additional information and it will be included in the response to your access request. 
  • Correction. You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information that we maintain, taking into account the information's nature and processing purpose.
  • Deletion. You may request that we delete Personal Information about you that we maintain, subject to certain exception under applicable law.  
  • Opt Out of Using Personal Information for Targeted Advertising, Profiling, and Sales. You may request that we do not use your personal data for these purposes.

Important: The exact scope of these rights vary by state. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request.

As required under applicable law, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to information or acting on your request to exercise your rights. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. You may make such a designation by providing the agent with written permission to act on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide proof of that written permission. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you.

Data Security
We have implemented reasonable and appropriate measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no website, mobile application, system, electronic storage, or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to, through, using, or in connection with the Sites. In particular, email, texts, and chats sent to or from the Sites may not be secure, and you should carefully decide what information you send to us via such communications channels. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk. 

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You should not to share your password with anyone.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Wastequip reserves the right to amend this privacy policy in our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy policy, we will post the updated policy on our Sites and update the policy’s effective date. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. We encourage you to periodically visit our Sites and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
